1. Who I am
Trading-Sparks (trading-sparks.com) is operated by Rakesh Poluri, an individual based in India, trading under the name Trading-Sparks. It is not a company. "I" and "me" in these terms mean the operator; "you" means anyone using the site.
2. What the site is — and is not
The site provides research tools, educational articles and freelance engineering services (strategy backtesting, indicator and strategy coding) for Indian markets. The tools — the Pre-Market Dashboard and the Relative Performance Rotation Graph (RPRG) — show calculations on historical market data.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. I am not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. The tools do not recommend buying, selling or holding any security, and a reading on a chart is not a recommendation. You are responsible for your own decisions and for taking professional advice where you need it.
Markets carry substantial risk of loss. Past and backtested performance is no guarantee of future results.
3. Data
Market data is end-of-day and derived from exchange-published prices. It may contain errors, gaps, adjustments or delays, and it may be revised. Symbol lists and index constituents are refreshed periodically and may lag the exchange. Verify anything you act on against your broker or the exchange.
4. Accounts
Some features need an account, created with an email address (one-time sign-in link) or a Google account. Keep your sign-in link private: anyone with it can sign in as you until it expires. You must be 18 or older to create an account. One account per person; I may close accounts that share access, automate requests, or otherwise abuse the service.
5. Free and Pro
The RPRG has a free tier, usable without an account, and a paid Pro tier with wider limits. The current limits of each tier are shown on the tool itself. I may change the limits or features of either tier; changes that reduce what a paid period includes will not apply until that period ends.
Pro is sold as a prepaid period of access. Payments are processed by Razorpay; I never see or store your card or bank details. Prices are shown in Indian rupees. Cancellation and refunds are covered in the Refunds & Cancellation policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract data or results from the tools;
- redistribute, resell or re-publish tool output as a data feed or service;
- attempt to bypass tier limits, rate limits or sign-in;
- interfere with the site's operation or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission.
You may share screenshots and discuss results freely, with attribution to Trading-Sparks.
7. Freelance services
Backtesting and coding work is agreed per engagement, in writing, with its own scope, price and delivery terms. Those written terms govern that work; these Terms of Use cover the site and tools.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, articles and the code behind the tools are mine. Market data belongs to its sources. Code delivered under a freelance engagement is yours once paid for, as set out in that engagement.
9. Availability and changes
I aim to keep the tools available and current, but they are provided "as is" and "as available". I do not promise uptime, and I may change, suspend or retire any feature. If a paid feature is retired during a paid period, you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the remaining time.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any trading or investment loss, lost profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its output. For paid services, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the period in which the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Termination
You can stop using the site at any time and ask me to delete your account. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if that happens during a paid period without cause on your part, the remaining time is refunded pro-rata.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
13. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes to how Pro works will be announced on the tool or by email before they take effect.
